A familiar face in hockey circles in the St. John’s area has passed away.
Murray Chaplin, a fixture for decades at the old Memorial Stadium and Mile One, sold a lot of 50/50 tickets in his day helping to raise millions for charity.
The Newfoundland Growlers, the main tenant at Mile One, lament the passing of Murray Chaplin noting his contribution to the community over the years.
