Traffic can now flow through the Trans Canada Highway near the Foxtrap weigh scales following a tractor trailer fire that closed the road this morning.
Shortly after 8 a.m., the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary advised drivers that the TCH near the scales was closed to traffic as emergency crews worked to put out the fire on the westbound lane.
Police now have one lane open to traffic in each direction. They say the highway will be fully accessible within the hour.
There is no word on any injuries at this time.
