A fishing vessel has been significantly damaged following a fire in Herring Neck, Notre Dame Bay.

According to Summerford Fire/Rescue the fire was successfully extinguished, but the boat was significantly damaged.

As well, they say a neighboring boat and wharf also sustained minor damage.
