A 37-year-old woman has been arrested, and the hunt continues for a man wanted in connection with a home invasion in Conception Harbour early Monday morning.
RCMP from the Holyrood, Ferryland, and Bay Roberts detachments were called to a home in the community around 1:30 on Monday morning.
A man was found at the scene with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Police learned that before they arrived, a number of people had fled the area in a dark-coloured Ford F-150.
RNC were notified and the suspect vehicle was located near the Foxtrap Access Road, and seized by police. A 37-year-old St. John’s woman was located and taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and break and enter. She’s been released to appear in court on December 2.
Police are searching for an unknown man who is believed to have been involved in the attack. He is described as tall and stocky, with brown hair and brown eyes.
