A man has been arrested for threatening the Minister of Health after showing up at his residence.
RCMP say shortly after 6:00 p.m. last evening, a 64-year-old man went to Minister John Haggie’s house in Gander and threatened him over public health masking requirements.
The man was yelling and threatening to physically harm Haggie.
He was located at a residence in Gander and charged with uttering threats.
He was released on multiple conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
