A man accused of using a piece of heavy equipment to break into the BMO on Newfoundland Drive will appear in court today in connection to a residential break in in Paradise over the weekend.
Forty-year-old Jamie Kennedy was arrested and charged along with 41-year-old Corey Quilty in January after the two allegedly used heavy equipment to bust into BMO. The pair were charged with break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle, and weapons offences.
Kennedy was released on bail a couple days after his arrest.
Over the weekend, Kennedy was brought back into custody after it was alleged he and a 24-year-old man broke into a house under construction on Lawlor’s Road in Paradise. It’s said the damage to the house amounts to thousands of dollars.
Kennedy is due in court today for a bail hearing.
