The latest Abacus Data poll shows the Liberals and Conservatives neck and neck ahead of next month’s federal election, but notes there is a high potential for changes on the campaign trail.
The latest poll by Abacus Data was completed the day before the writ was dropped.
According to the survey, the Conservatives hold a modest lead at 35 per cent support over the Liberals 33 per cent support.
The NDP hold 15 per cent of the popular vote, the Green Party sits at 10 per cent, 4 per cent support the Bloc Quebecois, with 17 per cent support in Quebec itself, and the People’s Party is not far behind holding 3 per cent public support.

The survey notes, however, there is a lot of potential for change ahead of October 21st.
42 per cent of those surveyed say it is very or somewhat likely they will end up changing their minds before heading to the polls.
Candidates have just over a month to sway support for their parties ahead of election day.
