Several municipalities along the Northeast Avalon have declared states of emergency as blizzard conditions continue on parts of the island.
All businesses are ordered to close and all vehicles, except emergency vehicles, have been ordered off the roads.
The municipalities are asking the public to stay home until the State of Emergency has been lifted.
Municipal Affairs and Environment Minister Derek Bragg says crews are still available in case of emergency. The best number to call is 911.
