The Town of Holyrood continues to have serious problems with its water system and has now brought in a water truck to provide services.
The ongoing disruption in the supply has led to restrictions and lack of service for much of the summer. The town says something is causing an increase in consumption rates in off-peak times but it has been unable to find any leaks in the line.
A water truck will be on site at the Conception Bay Highway and the road to the Holyrood Generating Station today. Residents will have to bring their own containers.
People should note the water is for household use only and is not suitable for drinking or consumption.
