Charities and non-profit organizations throughout the province who have seen an increase on the demand for services can now apply for COVID-19 assistance.

The Canadian Red Cross is offering financial aid, PPE and training to organizations who provide help to people who are highly vulnerable to the impacts of COVID-19.

The Red Cross is one of three organizations tasked with distributing 350-million dollars through the federal Emergency Community Support Fund. The fund will help groups safely resume work with virtual or in-person training.
