The House did not vote yesterday on whether to give judges a pay raise.
Instead, the matter will be brought back at the next sitting, expected in August.
A report from a tribunal recommends an increase of about 7.5 per cent over four years. Had there been a vote, it would have been very close.

Justice Minister Andrew Parsons is concerned that judges would still end up with the increase by going to court. They did it a few years ago and won.
PC Leader Ches Crosbie doesn’t think those on the bench would go that route given the times.
NDP Leader Alison Coffin first wants to see a provincial budget. She is not questioning the report, but the process.
Government is currently living on Interim Supply until September 30.
