Summer is making itself known with parts of the province under a heat warning.
David Neil, Meteorologist with Environment Canada says there is a steady southwesterly flow over the island.
He says the warnings for Central, parts of the West and Northeast will see temperatures around 30 degrees, but with the humidity, it could feel more like 34 to 37.

Heat warnings for the island as shown by Environment Canada.
Neil says the humid weather will stick around for the majority of the workweek.
He says to expect the heat warnings to extend through Thursday, some other regions might be added in as they are on the cusp of the warning.
For St. John’s and the Avalon, Neil says the temperatures will stay just below the heat warning threshold, with daytime highs still in the mid-20s.
Friday, the temperatures cool off with some showers.
