The Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association has cancelled all of their summer play due to COVID-19.
The NLBHA Executive Board made what they call the difficult, but necessary decision to suspend all provincial championships, tournaments and league play for the remainder of the 2020 summer ball hockey season.
The decision comes just days after public health permitted more sports and recreation to take place, albeit for practice and training rather than competition.
An update on fall and winter programs and leagues will be posted on September 30.
