Two men were arrested Tuesday night after RNC responded to two separate fights in the metro area.
At around 9:30 p.m., police responded to a disturbance in the east end of St. John’s.
A 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, threats, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and breaches of court orders.
Just after 10 p.m. RNC responded to another fight, this time in the west end of St. John’s. An 18-year-old man was charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, resisting arrest and breach of court order.
Both men were held for court.
