Newfoundland and Labrador continues its streak of no new cases of COVID-19 into day 42.
It’s been about a week since the province opened its borders to the ‘Atlantic Bubble,’ allowing residents of Atlantic Canada to travel into Newfoundland and Labrador without self-isolating for 14 days, and vice-versa.
Prince Edward Island is the only other province in the Atlantic Bubble to report an increase today, having detected one new case. The province says it is part of the current cluster in PEI.
To date, Newfoundland and Labrador health officials have tested 19,786 people for the virus.
