A locally owned business on the Burin Peninsula is one of 62 businesses who will benefit from $62,000 in funding from the Canadian Business Resilience Network.
The owner of Fewer’s Hair Salon in Marystown, Nora Gaulton, has been granted $10,000 as part of the funding which goes towards businesses affected by COVID-19.
Any members of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce were able to apply for the funding.
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce say they are proud to be able to help businesses during the unprecedented times.
