A runaway SUV with three people inside, including two children, ended up on its roof in the middle of a roadway in Spaniard’s Bay, Tuesday morning—but nobody was injured.
The vehicle began rolling down Sheppards Hill with two children buckled in the back seats. Bay Roberts RCMP says the passenger in the front seat made an attempt to get to the driver’s side to stop the vehicle but was unsuccessful. The SUV swerved and rolled onto the roof.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
