A recent outbreak of COVID-19 at an oil sands site in northern Alberta has prompted precautionary measures from public health officials in this province.
According to the Department of Health, an outbreak was declared at the Canadian Natural Albian Oil Sands on August 13.
Anyone who has returned from that site since July 28 is asked to self-isolate away from those in their household, and to call 811 for testing.
