A 25-year-old man is facing a list of serious charges following a domestic assault in the metro area late last night.
Police responded to a disturbance at a home in Mount Pearl after midnight.
Following an investigation, police arrested the 25-year-old and charged him with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, assault, and forcible confinement.
He was taken to lockup overnight and will appear in court today.
