Twillingate RCMP are renewing their request for information concerning an elderly man who disappeared over a year ago.
70-year-old Andy Canning of Bridgeport on New World Island was known to walk the roads in the area.
He was last seen on the evening of Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 in Valley Pond and Virgin Arm.
Extensive air, ground and water searches were launched involving various agencies, volunteers, family and friends, but to no avail.
Anyone with information concerning the hours leading up to Canning’s disappearance is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
