An 18-year-old driver, with a blood alcohol level showing nearly twice the legal limit, is facing impaired driving charges.
The young Bishop’s Cove man had his licence suspended and vehicle seized following a crash on the main highway in Spaniard’s Bay around 5:30 yesterday morning.
RCMP say breath tests showed his blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit.
He’s been released to appear in court at a later date.
