Memorial University has compiled a policy regarding face coverings.
Masks are now mandatory at all indoor public facilities including all common areas of Memorial. The university says that will also include in Memorial-owned vehicles transporting more than one person, when entering and exiting classrooms but not in the classroom when social distancing can be achieved, and in lunchrooms when not seated.
People are asked to supply their own mask but Campus Enforcement and Patrol does have a limited supply. Anyone wishing to report non-compliance can do so through MUN Safe.
Exceptions to the mandatory mask policy include individuals wearing religious face coverings, and in the chapel when the two-metre distance can be achieved.
