There are no new cases of COVID-19 being reported in Newfoundland and Labrador again today and there are no active cases.
Meanwhile, Opposition leader Ches Crosbie is reiterating his call for a point of entry testing for workers commuting back and forth outside the province.
Crosbie says current guidelines require rotational workers to self-isolate for 14 days, something that he says is causing significant stress and hardship for workers and their families.
He says while they can interact with family in the same household, they cannot enter public spaces or be around other family or friends.
Other provinces, like PEI, are administering COVID tests to rotational workers every few days to allow them a more normal way of life.
Crosbie says other provinces have found ways to safely support rotational workers – Newfoundland and Labrador need to do the same.
