A long-time municipal leader has signaled his intention to seek the Liberal nod in Placentia West-Bellevue.
Marystown Mayor Sam Synard made the announcement on VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly this morning.
Synard believes he has the scope and experience to support Premier Andrew Furey and his team.
He’s watched the offshore industry develop and has watched the fishery dwindle, and he’s offering to assist the new premier with that experience.
