A reported stabbing had the RNC responding to the Mount Pearl area late last night.
It happened around 11 p.m.
The victim suffered moderate injuries, and a 46-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
She was held for court. The investigation is ongoing.
