The province’s Child and Youth Advocate is inviting young people from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to help with a 30 for 30 awareness campaign.

Jackie Lake Kavanagh says many young people in that community are marginalized, face discrimination and even violence, and they can find it difficult to be heard.

The campaign will release a message a day for 30 days in November to order to raise awareness and understanding of the issues and insights they face.

The deadline for messages is October 15th. Youth can share their messages by emailing office@ocya.nlca, texting TextUs@ocya.nl.ca or by phone at 1-877-753-3888.
