Metrobus drivers will decide today whether strike action is in their future.
Originally, they planned to vote on Sunday—but that was moved forward due to hotel availability.
The Amalgamated Transit Union says its members have not been treated fairly, and do not receive the same benefits as city employees. They broke off talks this week, recommending that their 109 Metrobus members reject the latest offer.
However, the capital city indicates resources are too tight to increase benefits. Councillor Dave Lane says the city is seeking options to address the concerns of workers.
