Labrador-Grenfell Health is clarifying the protocol for self-isolating following a positive case in the region Wednesday.
Individuals who have been identified as a contact and have been contacted by Labrador-Grenfell Health will be given instructions for isolating while awaiting test results.
Those who sought a COVID test, but were not contacted by public health, only need to monitor for symptoms and do not need to self isolate.
Those with further questions are asked to contact 811 for direction.
