Provincial PC Leader Ches Crosbie will lead the party into the next general election.
PC Party President Eugene Manning says the membership was “loud and clear” that Crosbie stays on.
Crosbie received a ringing endorsement from the party faithful over the weekend, ensuring he’ll lead the PCs into the next general election.
While exact voting numbers were not available, Tory Government House Leader David Brazil says there was never any doubt as to which way the vote on a leadership review would go.
In the end, he says it clearly wasn’t necessary.
Brazil says the party is in a good place, ready to co-operate with other parties. He says the priority should be the people of the province, ensuring they’re kept safe and can get back to work as soon as possible.
Crosbie himself raised the issue of a leadership review soon after he took over leadership of the party.
