Loblaw is heading to court to seek an injunction against Dominion workers picketing its local distribution centre.
About 1,400 workers have been on strike for two months with no new talks in sight.
On Tuesday, workers moved their picket line to the Loblaw distribution facility in Donovans, blocking trucks from entering or leaving. They installed a temporary fence, which Unifor says is to ensure the safety of workers.
While Loblaw seeks legal intervention, the union intends to meet the challenge with a rally calling on the company to return to negotiations.
Unifor president Jerry Dias says Loblaw is using its resources and time in court instead of listening to the concerns of its workers.
