A man who was prohibited from carrying weapons of any type has been charged with violating such orders after an incident at a west end business.

Police were called to the store around 11:00 yesterday morning due to reports of property damage.

The business owner had detained the 37-year-old suspect who was arrested at the scene.

He’s facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, breach of a weapons prohibition, mischief related to property damage and breach of release order
