Ocean Choice International has made some changes to its proposal for a cold storage facility in Long Pond Harbour, Conception Bay South.
President Blaine Sullivan says the new plan will see the development moved southwest in the harbour towards Terminal Road, the existing commercial side of the harbour.
OCI has removed over 32 feet from the east side of the development, providing recreational boaters with an approximate 100-foot marked channel which the company says will be as deep as the existing channel.
They have removed 78 feet from the northeast side of the development and moved the access road back towards the southern portion of the harbour, an area that is not currently being utilized.
OCI has also changed the angle of the wharf to provide additional clearance between their property and the adjacent one.
