The Newfoundland U-18 Major Hockey League returns to the fold this weekend. The league, which used to be known as the Major Midget League, has been approved by Public Health to get back on the ice.
The five teams in the league are East Coast Blizzard, Pinnacle Growlers, Tri Pen Osprey, Central Impact and Western Kings. The league will continue with games following Public Health Directives and complying with Sport Guidance and Arena Operation Guidance.
It is considered to be the only true travel hockey league in the province at this time.
