Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s is taking a new approach to a town fundraiser in support of local schools.

They’ve created a board game based on the community, titled “PCSP Adventures.”

The goal of the game is to cross a board designed to look like the town, featuring a number of familiar locations.

The town says it hopes to help schools who have had to cancel their usual fundraisers due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The game won’t appear on stores shelves. Instead, the town has opened pre-orders through its website for those interested in picking up a copy.

All funds raised will be forwarded to three schools that teach students from Portugal Cove-St. Philips: Beachy Cove Elementary, Brookside Elementary, and Prince of Wales Collegiate.
