Some parents in Dover, Bonavista Bay, plan to protest changes to busing that have resulted in some kids being told they will now have to find their own way to school.
Jennifer Rogers says her three children—who attend William Mercer Academy in Dover—had been given seats on the bus, but now the school is telling them that only two can be accommodated because of the 1.6 km restriction.
Those who live within that zone do not automatically qualify for busing.
Rogers says several children are now in the same position, so parents are planning to demonstrate on Monday.
She fought for the courtesy stop in Dover a couple of years ago and Rogers says they will fight again.
