Public Health officials are urging patience as they work to identify the source of the province’s latest case of COVID-19.
There were no new confirmed cases of the virus in Newfoundland and Labrador today.
The source of the most recent case, a woman in the Western Health region reported yesterday, is not immediately known.
Public Health officials say they are working to identify potential sources of transmission and have identified the close contacts of the case.
Public health says such investigations can take time and they are asking people to remain patient as the investigation continues.
There are seven active cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.
