The Newfoundland Growlers have published a new book outlining the team’s journey to the Kelly Cup championship in 2019.
Growlers vs Everybody is a 200-page book from owner Dean MacDonald, broadcaster Chris Ballard and communications manager Ken O’Leary that chronicles the province’s first professional hockey championship.
Chair of Deacon Sports and Entertainment, Dean MacDonald, says they finally had a chance in the off-season to catch their breath and record the Growler’s first chaotic, and historic first season.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Growlers Give, the charitable arm of the Newfoundland Growlers.
