There are several new faces on the Board of Trustees for Labrador-Grenfell Health following a round of provincial appointments.

The Department of Health and Community Services announced yesterday that nine people have been appointed under a three-year term. They include seven new appointments and two re-appointments.

Noreen Careen, Hope Colbourne, Sandy Crowley, Marsha Genge, Wyman Jacque, Alton Rumbolt, Stacy Ryan, Michelle Baikie (re-appointment), Laura Lynn Decker-Ellsworth (re-appointment).

The Labrador-Grenfell Health region covers about 37,000 people across Labrador, and within communities along the Northern Peninsula.
