A student of Elwood High School in Deer Lake says she believes online teaching should be made available while the town experiences a COVID outbreak.
Schools are open, but school board officials have given parents the option of keeping their children home due to the unfolding situation.
That leaves some students at a disadvantage according to Jenna, on VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly.
She says that means most students are missing the work being done in class.
Students are stressed out says Jenna, especially as new cases are identified in the town, and she suggests online learning be provided until the current situation settles down.
