While many turned to the outdoors to cope with the pandemic this year, Parks Canada is pushing next year’s reservations back by a few months.

Instead of January, reservations for national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas will be staggered throughout April.

In essence, it’s to allow more time for officials to monitor the pandemic and make changes to park facilities. Parks Canada says it will also allow visitors to make more informed decisions about their vacation plans.
