The first meeting of the all-party committee on COVID-19 was held this past week

The committee initially met very frequently at the onset of the pandemic, but those meetings dwindled and eventually, the committee was quietly terminated in October.

Due to rising cases across the province, the meetings resumed earlier this week.

Premier Andrew Furey says the first meeting went well.

He calls it an “open discussion” with the other parties, where they mostly fielded concerns from the other parties.
