The provincial government has doled out over $241,500 in funding to support violence prevention in indigenous communities.
The programs chosen focus on violence prevention for women and children, and the engagement of men and boys on the issue.
In total, 13 projects will benefit from the initiative, with funding ranging from $4,500 to $25,000.
