The regulated price of gas is up today, but there’s a bit of a break on other fuels.
Gas is up by 1.4 cents a litre, while propane is up by just under a cent a litre.
Other fuels are down, albeit slightly. Diesel, furnace and stove oil are all down by less than a cent.
The increase in propane reflects the interim approval of an increase of 7.46 centre per litre to allow Irving Energy the opportunity to recover additional costs associated with the shutdown of the North Atlantic Refinery in March of 2020.
