A pro hockey player traded last week to the Ottawa Senators will report to Belleville of the American Hockey League once he passes his 14-day quarantine period.
Clark Bishop, who was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014, enjoyed his time with the organization and the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL, but is looking forward to a new opportunity.
The forward, who’s from St. John’s, says the call informing him of the trade was both nerve-wracking and exciting. It was the first time he had ever been traded in his hockey career.
Belleville is in Ottawa practicing, so Bishop will join them when his quarantine is over.
