The lynx that escaped its compound at the Salmonier Nature Park has been recaptured.
The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture tweeted out this morning that thanks to staff, and help from conservation officers from Paddy’s Pond, the lynx was returned to the park and that “everyone, including his enclosure mate” is happy he’s back.
The lynx escaped when a fallen tree damaged the fence around its enclosure.
