More bad news for winter attractions on the west coast.
Snowmobiling seasons in Gros Morne National Park and the opening of Marble Mountain have both been postponed once again.
This is the latest letdown for those hoping to hit the slopes and trails, owing to an unseasonably mild winter thus far.
Both attractions were tentatively set to start this week but had to be postponed due to a lack of freezing temperatures and snow cover.
The start of snowmobiling season in Gros Morne has been pushed back until at least next Thursday.
At Marble Mountain, they received between 10-15 cm of heavy snow overnight on Wednesday, unfortunately, it was not enough.
They say they will resume snow production this coming Monday and have set a new opening date of next Friday.
