A 52-year-old man from Nain, already charged with sexual assault against a youth, is now facing additional sex-related charges.

Douglas Kohlmeister has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference against a child in connection with offences that are alleged to have occurred late last year.

The age of the child has not been released.

Kohlmeister was already before the courts facing similar charges against a youth for offences that allegedly occurred in 2019.

Kohlmeister, who appeared before the courts via teleconference, has been released from custody on a number of conditions.
