The RNC is asking for the public’s help in its investigation into a sudden death in the capital city’s west end over the weekend.

The body of a man was discovered near a wooded walking trail in the Waterford Valley last Sunday evening.

Police are calling the man’s death suspicious in nature and they are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.

Investigators are asking anyone with dashcam footage from the area of Waterford Bridge Road between Cowan Avenue and Bay Bulls Road on Sunday, May 30, between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to contact police at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
