One man was arrested and drugs, cash, and weapons were seized after Gander and Twillingate RCMP searched a home in Virgin Arm yesterday afternoon.
According to police, 1.1 kg of cocaine, 1.3 kg of cannabis, nine grams of hash oil, 450 grams of illicit cannabis edibles, and other trafficking paraphernalia were located and seized—along with $75,000 in cash, a firearm, and a prohibited weapon.
A man who was located inside the house was arrested, but later released from custody.
The RCMP anticipates a number of drug-related charges will be laid, as the investigation continues.
