The flight plan took the jet from St. John’s to Red Head Cove on the tip of the northwestern Avalon, and back again.
The fly-bys are an annual event with annual themes—this year’s being “strong at home.”
It’s said to represent the commitment to domestic operations that the Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Armed Forces are involved with throughout the country.
